The mission of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland’s Office of Human Resources is to promote, support and respect the dignity, diversity and rights of all employees who work in the Diocese of Portland. We exist to foster an environment that allows each employee to carry out his or her ministry and utilize his or her talents according to God's will; to provide a process to ensure fair wages and comprehensive benefits; to promote justice and fair treatment for each employee in accordance with the teachings of Jesus Christ, fully accepting the values of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church; to ensure compliance with applicable civil laws; and to avoid unnecessary risk to employees and the Diocese of Portland.
